Our team at The Dentists at Orenco Station strives to create an enjoyable, positive, and stress-free dental experience for each of our patients, so we’re always available to help you navigate scheduling follow-up appointments, planning payments, and filing insurance claims for your plan. Below, we’ve included some important information to help prepare you for your first visit with us. Your First Visit

  1. When you call to schedule your appointment, our friendly team will gather your information and outline what you can expect at your visit, including how long it will take. We’ll also send you new patient paperwork digitally so you can fill it out ahead of time.
  2. When you arrive at our office, you’ll be greeted by our front desk staff who will provide you with any remaining paperwork you’ll need to fill out.
  3. One of our dental assistants will call you back and guide you to one of our comfortable operatories, where they’ll review your information and capture any necessary X-rays/photos. 
  4. One of our doctors will then come in to introduce themselves to you and review your concerns and oral and medical health history.
  5. We’ll then complete a comprehensive examination of your mouth, including an oral cancer and periodontal screening, and an evaluation of your teeth in search of signs of damage and decay.
  6. We’ll give you a virtual tour of your mouth, being sure to note positive points as well as any concerns that we may have found and treatments we recommend.
  7. After all of your questions are answered by your dentist, our treatment coordinator will review our recommendations with you as well as your dental benefits and help you schedule your a cleaning at your follow-up visit.
